Victims Win Major Verdict in Longstanding Sexual Abuse Case

In a landmark decision, a Bergen County jury has awarded $14 million to three women who were sexually assaulted by Dr. Carl Renner, a physician formerly practicing in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey. According to court records and victim testimony, the abuse spanned several years and took place during medical examinations. Medical Group Held Liable for Failing to Act

The lawsuit named Osler Medical Group, where Renner practiced, as a co-defendant. Under the terms of the civil verdict:

• One plaintiff was awarded $6 million

• A second plaintiff, along with her husband, received $4 million

• The third plaintiff was also awarded $4 million

Despite the ruling, a representative from Osler Medical Group declined to comment.
